CALCIUM CARBONATE 1kg (food grade)

Calcium carbonate is used to raise mash pH. It increases alkalinity, improves yeast health, and adds essential calcium ions, all of which contribute to the desired beer characteristics, although it must be added to the mash due to its limited solubility. Generally used for making dark beers.
