Brick Road Dark Malt makes great-tasting beer with Brick Road beer kits, or with Brick Road Hopped Malt extract cans, or in all-grain recipes when you want only the finest malt flavour. This can will contribute a deep-amber colour up to 34 EBC in 23L, 1.021 gravity points and will replace approx. 1.75 kg of amber base grain in your wort. Dark Malt is particularly good for darker Ales, Stouts and Porters or when you need to add colour to your beer. Follow Brick Road and you will soon be brewing fresh beer that tastes better than commercial beer. This can contains the foundations of great beer for you to brew at home, simply and easily. You can also build your own unique recipes brick-by-brick. Brick Road searched the world to find the best maltster to create this exceptional hopped wort. Only the finest grains are selected for malting – a time-honoured process. The grains are steeped in water and allowed to sprout over 5 days, before drying, allowing the natural sugars to be released. Malts are blended to suit the beer style, then mashed to create wort. The fresh wort is gently reduced to 80 Brix before being canned fresh on-site to retain its original delicious malt flavours.

For the best-tasting all-malt beer, mix well with water and Brick Road beer kits or your favourite yeast and Brick Road Hopped Malt. When mixed to 23L, this pack will contribute a brown colour around 40 EBC, and 1.017 gravity points. You can also use it in all-grain recipes when you want only the finest malt flavour. It will replace approx. 1.34 kg of base grain in your wort. This Dry Malt Extract is made from the finest fresh malted barley grown in the UK - probably the world's best barley-growing climate. Black Rock Crafted American Pale Ale is brewed with Caramalt and Roasted specialty malts for a typical APA flavour and pale brown colour. NZ Green Bullet and Pacific Gem hops are added at the boil to provide a moderate-strong bitterness. Black Rock APA is is already dry-hopped with Cascade to infuse a delicous grapefruit and citrus aroma. Brew with Black Rock Ultra-Light UME, or combine 2 cans of APA for a more powerful hop aroma and bitterness. Try brewing this recipe with a specialty US ale yeast like Safale US-05.

Black Rock Unhopped Ultralight malt extract is light in colour and smooth in flavour. The malt is mashed and boiled using 100% NZ lager malt, then the finished wort is gently evaporated to make this concentrated wort. Maltose syrup is added so it is ideal to make clean, crisp pale ales, lagers and pilseners.
